South Florida has seen it share of no rain for weeks. Today rain fell making up for the dry spell. Miami looked like it was under a tropical storm with winds, rain and lighting. Tornado watches where place in Broward county. The national weather service started issuing their severe storms advisory's from about 2:45 pm. Some watchs will still be in effect un til later in the eveings ast the storm moves off shore. Leaving South Florida drenched with water.

Motorists in North Miami Where inconvenience with the flash floods that where caused by heavy pouring rain Traffic was backed-up for more than 4 city blocks in the East to West travel lanes on 163rd Miami Gardens Drive. Motorist tried to make their way to the final travel destination. Visibility was only about 500 feet in some locations. Hail fell in NorthWest Dade as the storm made its way from Broward South to Miami Dade County. |
