Miami Dade has been plague with a rash of forest fires due to the dry conditions in the past few months Miami Dade firefighters along with Florida Dept of forestry have been on top of these fires. Both working in conjunction to contain and out these fires that have been started by unknown causes. In talking with Miami Dade Fire.They are thought that the fires are started by the phenomenon dry lighting. that's when the wood ignites on its own. Buth They think its just some thing that happens only when the conditions are right. Hot Sun along with dry conditions. The other caused its an actual lighting strike.

For the past 3 weeks there has been 4 sets of fires that have started in both Dade and Broward counties. It sure looks like we are going to see may more fires due o alot of dead trees that been uprooted in un inhabitable places such as West Dade and West Broward where there is no houses and it desolate
