At 2pm Friday the National Weather Service has predicted hurricane Dennis to be near North Latitude 22.1 and West Longitude 80.6 located Near Cienfuegos Cuba and 125 miles Southeast of havana Cuba and 195 miles south east of Key west Florida. Denis continues on its forward motion with some wobbling this is typical from a major hurricane Dennis is Moving Northwest at 17 Mph with now wind sustained at 145 mph. Dennis is now a category 4 Hurricane and its expected to stay on the Southern central part of Cuba on this movement within the next 24 hours. Hurricane force winds can be felt from the center to 50 miles outward and Tropical force winds extend 160 miles outward from center. Areas affected by can see Storm surge flooding of 5 to 7 feet above normal tide. Large battering waves on the south east cuban shore winds alone the coast of Cabo Cruz with a 20 feet Storm surge could be seen. Along the southern coast of Cuba west of Cabo Cruz storm surge of 3 to 6 feet could be expected along the Lower Florida Keys and the south west coast Storm surge of 4 to 7 feet cout be expected. Dennis can produce from 5to 10 inches of rain in any given period or higher in Cuba. 15 inches of rain in the Sierra Maestra Mountains of the south western part of Cuba..
